During my perimenopause stage, I only did yoga. I wish someone had told me about weight training & how much it would have helped!

As we age, we tend to lose muscle mass & our metabolism naturally slows down. This is why it is so easy to gain weight after 40.

So, if you feel awful, try adding some weight to your workouts and remember that gaining muscle doesn’t happen overnight but over a long period of consistent training.

Here are three exercises that I really love for working the upper body, core, and legs!

Try for 1 minute for each exercise (don’t forget to do both sides for the last two exercises). You can repeat for 3 rounds with a 60-second break between sets.
